Barack Obama Collects Nobel Prize

This year's Nobel peace Prize laureate, Barack Obama with the insignia of the Nobel Peace Prize, the medal and the diploma, in the Oslo City Hall, Norway, 10 December 2009.

The statement that i like more in Obama's Nobel Peace Prize speech:

'a just peace includes not only civil and political rights — it must encompass economic security and opportunity. For true peace is not just freedom from fear, but freedom from want.

I make this statement mindful of what Martin Luther King said in this same ceremony years ago: "Violence never brings permanent peace. It solves no social problem: It merely creates new and more complicated ones." As someone who stands here as a direct consequence of Dr. King's life's work, I am living testimony to the moral force of non-violence. I know there is nothing weak, nothing passive, nothing naive in the creed and lives of Gandhi and King.' --B.Obama

Bruce Lee,The Super Hero

Bruce Lee Birthday Special(27th Nov):
I have nothing to say new about Bruce Lee...every one know about that Real HERO.
Its a day to remember and its a day to celebrate..and He once again proved that " Common Man Can be Super Man"

Few words of Bruce Lee:

#Empty your mind, be formless, shapeless - like water. Now you put water into a cup, it becomes the cup, You put water into a bottle, it becomes the bottle, You put it in a teapot, it becomes the teapot. Now water can flow or it can crash! Be water my friend.

#
Simplicity is the key to brilliance.

#
Ever since I was a child I have had this instinctive urge for expansion and growth. To me, the function and duty of a quality human being is the sincere and honest development of one's potential.

#
I'm not in this world to live up to your expectations and you're not in this world to live up to mine.

#
If you always put a limit on everything you do, physical or anything else. It will spread into your work and into your life. There are no limits. There are only plateaus, and you must not stay there, you must go beyond them.

#
If you spend too much time thinking about a thing, you'll never get it done.

#
I am not teaching you anything. I just help you to explore yourself.

Mahatma Gandhi – The Father of India (1869-1948):

Some of the famous quotes by Mahatma Gandhi have been listed below :

  • Live as if you were to die tomorrow. Learn as if you were to live forever.
  • Fear is not a disease of the body; fear kills the soul.
  • The principle of majority does not work when differences on fundamentals are involved.
  • Freedom is not worth having if it does not include the freedom to make mistakes.
  • It is better to be violent, if there is violence in our hearts, than to put on the cloak of nonviolence to cover impotence.
  • It is unwise to be too sure of one's own wisdom. It is healthy to be reminded that the strongest might weaken and the wisest might err.
  • You must not lose faith in humanity. Humanity is an ocean; if a few drops of the ocean are dirty, the ocean does not become dirty.
  • Honest differences are often a healthy sign of progress.
  • Whatever you do may be insignificant, but it is very important that you do it.
